Daavi guffawed and quickly skittered into range.  He swung Sojanna even as Shisen thrust forward with his claymore.  The spinning vibro-knife deflected Sojanna twice as Shisen cut Daavi back and then forth across the lower belly.  Sojanna arced out twice more and devastated Shisen's mystical armour.  The spell armour collapsed.  Shisen struck with his claymore, the thrust deflected by Sojanna and the slice by Daavi's forearm blades.  Sojanna sliced through the spinning blade misting it.  The sword continued down through Shisen's left shoulder and then cut across his belly.  Daavi parried Shisen's sword with his forearm blades once and the second blow sliced him under the arm.  He dropped to the ground and his sword lowered.

Shisen pressed the advantage.  His sword sliced shallowly across Daavi's neck and then down his left shoulder just missing the hissing amalgamate.  There was another useless electrical blast that lit up the immediate area from the symbiote in back.  It crackled uselessly off of Shisen's bare cloth.  Daavi stood up suddenly swinging Sojanna up between the scarecrow's legs.  The sword cleaved Shisen from groin to breast.  Shisen merely leaked straw from the wound and swung his sword.  Daavi blocked both blows and smashed Sojanna against Shisen's magic shield and then cut off that arm.  The arm spiralled back through the air and crashed to the ground.
