where you got it. There, I can see the spot where there
isn't any dust. Okay, outside."
Rad stepped out the door. Max followed him and
carefully closed the door. "Alright people, we aren't going
to be doing anything inside or near to this house."
"What is going on Max?" Rad asked sounding angry.
"I guess it's time for a little history lesson.
Everybody come here. Chris, call G'lishi, it won't
hurt for him to know too." Max said and then waited for the
dragon to come by.
It was not long before G'lishi approached. Max
continued, "I want to tell you all a little bit about the history
of this planet. I don't know everything but I know enough.
I also know that when and if we find another place like this
that we will not be using it for shelter or anything else.
These are special places, they aren't sacred but maybe they
should be."
Rad looked entirely baffled but kept his mouth shut.
Max carried on; "The world wasn't always like it is
now. You may all have heard of it, or not, but there was an
apocalypse on this planet when a war turned bloody and weapons of
mass destruction were put into play. A lot of people died
at once and their essence, the magical part of them, was released
in a great storm that flooded the world and the ley lines grew in
power. The ley lines back then were small and invisible but
all of these deaths made them swell and grow. A great chain
reaction was started as the ley lines exploded killing more
people who only added to the chaos."
